First, apologies if this is stepping on anyone's toes. I looked, but couldn't find an official thread devoted to units. So here it is.
There are two intended aspects to this thread.
1 - Get a list of units we'd like to see in the game. Ideally the game should implement a large list of units in order to make for a broader tech tree and to make real decisions on what unit to build.
2 - Get a list of traits we'd like to see in the units. Forex, pikemen had a x1.5 bonus vs cavalry, and triremes could sink in deep sea.
Everything here should be stuff intended for the basic game, but with an eye towards making it modder-friendly. So, without further ado, here's some to get the ball rolling.
